Kings power over the Devils with a 6-1 score and win LA’s first Stanley cup.

After 45-years the Los Angeles Kings turned the City of Angels into a 36-pound silver trophy town.  LA’s new royal champions had very little to hope for after going into a mid-December coaching change and being in the lowest ranked teams in NHL scoring, but it all changed this Monday night for the LA Kings.

The Devils fell to Captain Dustin Brown 1 goal, Trevor Lewis 2 goals, Jeff Carter 2 goals and Matt Greene 1 goal.
